Happy New Year + Thorium Nova Developer Meeting

Hey Folks. Happy New Year!

It's been quite the interesting year for us in Thorium land. Thorium Nova's development ground to a halt and took a break for a few months, only to be resurrected as a community project. 2021 culminated in the first alpha release of Thorium Nova, which will let all of you see first-hand our progress as it happens.

I'll be honest, I was hopeful that there would be more engagement and contribution by now, but I'm 100% confident this was the best choice both for me and for Thorium Nova itself. I'm certain 2022 will bring many exciting developments. Which brings us to...

Developer Contribution Kickoff Meeting

We're having another meeting to kick off development on Thorium Nova. I want to schedule it between January 17 - 22, but I would love to hear what day and time folks are available. You can see the proposed agenda on this Github discussion. If you're interested in contributing code to Thorium Nova, ) post in the Github discussion or upvote proposals with your preferred date and time. Once we've got enough proposals, I'll send an email next Thursday with the actual event time.

I think that's all. Like always, I'm ever grateful for all of you being part of this journey. Certainly it hasn't gone as any of us expected, but that's life in 2021, eh? Here's to 2022 and all the wonderful adventures it will bring.
