Next Thorium Nova Meeting
Hello hello, Thorium fans. Happy Thorium Thursday.
The next Thorium Nova meeting is scheduled for January 19 at 6:30pm EST - note the time zone. I expect the meeting to last 45 minutes. Here's the Zoom link. There is also an event in Discord which you can RSVP on to get a reminder there. If you can't make it, I'll try my best to record it and post the recording on YouTube and take notes, which will be posted on Discord.
This meeting is specifically for developers interested in adding features to the Thorium Nova codebase. There are two items on the agenda.
- Talk about what features we want to build out first.
- Discuss the capabilities and API of the Thorium Nova engine.
I've already started some discussions about the foundational features that I think we should work on first. Since I want to get started on these, we likely won't discuss these in depth in the meeting, so please read through these and provide some feedback.
If there's another feature you think should be implemented sooner than later, go ahead and propose it in this discussion.
That's all for this week. I'll leave you with this gem from the NASA James Webb Space Telescope Twitter account. That's the kind of pettiness I aspire to.
Have a great week.
